Cheapest Countries in the World to Travel List

Which are the cheapest countries in the world for traveling? Europe is expensive. I’m not even talking about Japan. Hongkong cost of fire. We can’t afford much money for Singapore. USA is already a dream. So what should we do? Isn’t there any country to go to in this world for cheap vacation? In this article I will share you those cheap countries with you. Lets go!

1. Macedonia

In my opinion, it would be the cheapest holiday destination in the Balkans. In addition to being cheap, there are places with wonderful natural beauties to be seen in Macedonia, the favorite of the Balkans.

Skopje and Ohrid should be on your route. 30 dollars a day is comfortable enough. A hostel with 8~9 in the capital Skopje can be accommodated for 7~8 dollars per night.

I had made plans to go to Myanmar for a very long time and went in 2016. Myanmar was a very, very cheap country. For example, a nightly stay in a hostel bought 8.5 in Yangon is around $ 8.

Per person meal in a nice restaurant is 5-6 dollars, 1 liter of gasoline is around 1 dollar. So the total budget I estimated was around $ 25-30. A country that has not yet fully opened to the world. In my opinion, it must be on your list.

  • Mid-Range Restaurant Meal: $ 7~
  • Bic MC Index: $ 5~
  • Local transportation: 0.20~ cent
  • Average daily expense: 30~ dollars

3. Serbia

Belgrade, which is indispensable for those looking for cheap holiday destinations, has recently become famous with Belgrade Nightlife. Many DJs gave concerts from Europe. People flock from everywhere to went to the holiday. However, there was another important reason.

Serbia was really a very, very cheap country. In Belgrade, where 30-40 dollars a day can be enough, you can stay in a hostel with 9.4 for only 5 dollars per night.

  • Accommodation: I mentioned above. $ 5 can be considered.
  • Mid-Range Restaurant Meal: 8-10 dollars
  • Bic MC Index: $ 4.5~
  • Local transportation: 0.80~ cents
  • Average daily expense: 30-40 dollars

4. Bulgaria

Many travelers travel to Bulgaria for a weekend getaway. Ski lovers especially flock to this beautiful country, which has the best ski resorts in the world, during the winter season. They will, of course. Believe me, it’s a lot cheaper than most countries.

For example, a night stay in a hostel bought 8.5 in Sofia, the capital, is 8 dollars. If you are going to have a nice dinner, it will be enough to pay 10-15 dollars per person. Daily budget average is 35 dollars.

  • Accommodation: I mentioned above. An average of 8 dollars.
  • Mid-Range Restaurant Meal: $ 10~
  • Bic MC Index: $ 4.5~
  • Local transportation: 0.50~ cent
  • Average daily expense: 35~ dollars

5. Georgia

Last year I had a 2-day, 2-night getaway to Tbilisi, Georgia. My friends said, “It is a really cheap city. You’ll see it when you go. ” they said. But I didn’t believe it. Indeed it was. The daily budget average in Georgia is 30 dollars.

  • Accommodation: You can stay at a hostel bought 8.1 in Tbilisi for only 4 dollars.
  • Mid-Range Restaurant Meal: $ 10
  • Bic MC Index: $ 5
  • Local transportation: 0.20 cent
  • Average daily expense: 30 dollars

6. Ukraine

Last year I went to Lviv. I had enough money in my pocket for 4 days. Believe me, I came back without spending half of it. Alcohol, meals, nightlife, souvenirs, accommodation. Lots of things are just a little more expensive than free.

You should definitely visit Ukraine not only for the Ukrainian nightlife but also to explore beautiful cities such as Lviv, Kiev and Odessa.

  • Accommodation: You can stay in a hostel bought 8.9 for 4 dollars per night.
  • Mid-Range Restaurant Meal: $ 7
  • Bic MC Index: $ 2.60
  • Urban transportation: 0.20 cents
  • Average daily expense: 30 dollars

7. Nicaragua

They are always included in the list of the cheapest countries, even those with the cheapest living conditions. It is a frequent destination for many travelers to Central America. Its economy is not good.

That’s why most things are very cheap. In fact, students from all over the world come to Nicaragua for language education just because it is cheap. 30 dollars a day is comfortable enough.

  • Accommodation: A hostel like 8.8 can be accommodated for a night is only 7 dollars.
  • Mid-Range Restaurant Meal: $ 10.
  • Bic MC Index: $ 5.90 (Expensive.)
  • Local transportation: 0.10 cent
  • Average daily expense: 30 dollars

8. Indonesia

Bali. It was one of the 10 most beautiful places I have ever seen. It is the cheapest holiday island in my opinion. When many people were looking for honeymoon destinations, Bali came across. But 10 minutes later it can cahnge to “It is very expensive. Never mind. Let’s go on a honeymoon another country.” So why is that ?

Because they are looking at hotels in the Seminyak area that cost around 1.000 Euros per night. However, in the Ubud area, you can find a Hostel for 5 dollars per night and a villa for 33 dollars.

For me, Indonesia is at the top of my list of “Countries to live in at retirement”. You ask why ? 35 dollars a day is very, very comfortable enough. Around $ 1,000 a month. How could it not be in my mind!

If I have one more chance, I would live without thinking. I highly recommend it to you. It is a very cheap island region in your guess. Please do not hesitate. NOTE: You pay 3-5 dollars for a 1 hour massage, 6-7 dollars per person for a nice dinner.

  • Accommodation: Average 5-7 dollars. (Cheapest country for vacation)
  • Mid-Range Restaurant Meal: $ 10
  • Bic MC Index: $ 3.80
  • Local transportation: 0.38 dollars
  • Average daily expense: 35 dollars

9. Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka, the island country, is also one of the very cheap countries. In Sri Lanka, which has always ranked as the cheapest country to live, an estimated budget of 25-30 dollars per day is enough. Imagine if you could live like a king for $ 750 a month!

  • Accommodation: $ 6.30 per night for an 8.8 hostel.
  • Mid-Range Restaurant Meal: 4-7 dollars
  • Bic MC Index: $ 4.80
  • Local transportation: 0.14 cent
  • Average daily expense: $ 25

10. Albania

To tell you the truth, there is nothing to see, especially in the Albanian capital, Tirana. But the country is very, very cheap. I haven’t been to the cities of Vlore and Durres though. But I had a chance to observe enough to see the average spending in the country. Your estimated daily spend may be around $ 35.

  • Accommodation: Nightly accommodation in a hostel bought 8.0 in the capital Tirana is $ 9.
  • Mid-Range Restaurant Meal: $ 10
  • Bic MC Index: $ 4
  • Local transportation: 0.33 cent
  • Average daily expense: 30-35 dollars

11. Vietnam

It is one of the most attractive of Southeast Asian countries. In my opinion, it is one of the cheapest places to live. I’m not saying just because it is cheap. It is also a very beautiful country to live in. Especially many backpackers travel to the very south of Vietnam with their motorcycles bought from Hanoi for 100-150 dollars.

Many travelers I met had done this, and not all of them were praised. It’s also a pretty cheap country. For example, you can have a meal for 3-4 dollars in a middle class restaurant. In Vietnam, which is at the top of my list of livable cheap countries, on average, 30 dollars a day is very comfortable.

  • Accommodation: You can stay in a hostel with 8.1 in Hanoi for 4 dollars a day.
  • Mid-Range Restaurant Meal: $ 10. $ 4 in cheap restaurant.
  • Bic MC Index: $ 4.75
  • Local transportation: 0.72 cent
  • Average daily expense: 30 dollars

12. Laos

Laos is one of the cheapest countries to live in. But it is also a troubled country like Cambodia. They also had great losses in their time.

They did not generate tourism revenues like Vietnam. It is still a difficult country to go to. 25-30 dollars a day would be enough.

  • Accommodation: Accommodation in a hostel in the capital Vientiane with 8.8 is $ 5.
  • Mid-Range Restaurant Meal: $ 4
  • Bic MC Index: $ 4.75
  • Local transportation: 0.72 cent
  • Average daily expense: 25-30 dollars

13. Cambodia

Known as the land of pain, Cambodia is located in the land where millions of people lost their lives after the civil war. I am sure that Angkor Wat, the world’s largest temple area in the city of Siem Reap of this beautiful country, will impress you with its enchanting majesty.

Everything else in the country is very cheap. 30 dollars a day is comfortable enough. Recently, many foreign travelers have settled in Cambodia, first for exploration and then for living. You ask why ? Because it is at the top of our list of the cheapest countries to live.

  • Accommodation: You can stay in a hostel for $ 3 per day in an 8.8 hostel.
  • Mid-Range Restaurant Meal: $ 6
  • Bic MC Index: $ 3.50
  • Local transportation: $ 1
  • Average daily expense: 30 dollars

14. India

I have recommended this mystical country many times to those looking for a cheap holiday. The reason is: In India, where 300 million people are born on the street, grow up on the street and die on the street, people struggle to survive for 1-2 dollars a day.

Words are not enough to describe my experiences. They say either “You either fall in love with India, or you hate!“. Here I was one of those who fell in love. So can we count India as “the world’s cheapest livable country”? I did not know your answer. It is very cheap to travel, but it must be difficult to live …

  • Accommodation: 3 dollars per night in a hostel in the city of Agra.
  • Mid-Range Restaurant Meal: $ 4
  • Bic MC Index: $ 3 (Does not contain meat.)
  • Urban transportation: 0.15 cents (They don’t say it’s the cheapest country to live in.)
  • Average daily expense: 25-30 dollars

15. Nepal

The capital city of Kathmandu was shaken especially after the earthquake. While the country was already cheap, it became much cheaper as a result of this natural disaster. It was at the top of the list of the cheapest cities in the world.

Guys, there are people in this country who are unfortunately trying to make a living for 1-2 dollars a day. That’s why the economy is in ruins. So the numbers that seem small to you, believe me, are huge money for the Nepalese people. In this land where you can spend a very comfortable day for $ 25 a day under normal conditions, your average expenses can be as follows:

  • Accommodation: The nightly accommodation fee for 2 people in a hotel with 8.2 is 6 dollars. So 3 dollars per person.
  • Mid-Range Restaurant Meal: $ 5
  • Bic MC Index: $ 6.5 (MC Donalds is expensive.)
  • Local transportation: $ 0.20 (For nothing, it is not at the top of our list for sightseeing.)
  • Average daily expense: $ 25

Scandinavian countries are very beautiful but very expensive. But believe me, all these countries that I have counted so far are just as beautiful. On top of that, they are the cheapest places in the world, allowing you to have a comfortable and longer vacation.

Also on the subject of living: As I said. Many of the above countries are considered as the cheapest countries to live in. The decision is yours…
